Genova Piazza Principe is the nerve center of the city's transportation system. Located on Acquaverde Square, the average daily number is 66,000, more than 24 million per year, and there are about 300 trains per day. Most long-distance trains connect the platform that leaves/arrives to the main entrance through two channels below the line. From the platform of the main (ground) part of the station, one of these passages enters through stairs and elevators, and the other enters through escalators and stairs. However, only one escalator enters the main hall of the station through the way the elevator enters/outs the platform/binari - when we are there, it is working in the upward direction. It consists of several layers:

• The track layer below the ground floor is almost entirely occupied by the technical room, warehouse, commercial activities and catering services;
• The first floor consists of the Traveler Building Commercial activities and passenger services; The remaining levels are occupied only by railway offices and facilities.
