The Siegbo/Bonn station is located in the town of Siegbo in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany, on the Cologne-Frankfurt high-speed railway and the Sieg railway. Its name is attributed to the station's reconstruction for high-speed lines to serve Bonn. It is connected to Bonn by the Siegburg line of Bonn Stadtbahn every 10 or 15 minutes. The station is located in the network area of Verkehrsverbund Rhein-Sieg (Rhein-Sigg Transport Association, VRS).
Since November 5, 2007, the station has been integrated as part of the AIRail service. There are two Lufthansa boarding machines at the station's travel center, allowing passengers to check their luggage on Lufthansa flights. Since then, these have been replaced by other check-in arrangements. Passengers take the ICE to the Frankfurt Airport long-distance station and then to their plane. The baggage is transported to Frankfurt Airport and taken to the plane.
