Introduction

Milano Garibaldi is a major railway station in the Italian city of Milan, with an average annual passen ger volume of 25 million. It is the second largest passenger station in Milan after Milan Central Station. The station is located near the Floyd Square.

The station is also the main commuter train station, where most suburban and regional trains to and from the city stop or stop. These trains are operated by Trenord and not by Trenitalia, although Eurail and InterRail passes can be used on these trains.

Some long-distance express trains also use the station, including some high-speed Frecce trains between Turin and the southern destination. Another express train service between Milan and Turin uses this station, which is the TGV French-Italian train service between Milan and Paris. These TGV trains do not use the city's main station, Milan Central Station.

There are four options from Milano Porta Garibaldi Station to Milan Central Station:

(1) There are 2 trains per hour from the Garibaldi Gate Station to the Central Station. They are Malpensa Express trains, from the airport to the Central Station.

(2) The subway train is more convenient. It takes only two stops from the Garibaldi Gate Station to the M2 line to the Central Station. You should arrive at the lobby of Central Station within 20 minutes of the arrival of the Garibaldi Gate, but you will need to use the escalator and the automatic walkway to walk up the fourth floor at Central Station.

(3) Walk 15 to 25 minutes from Garibaldi Gate Station to Central Station.

(4) If you want to travel with your luggage, it is best to take a taxi for less than 10 minutes, this is the best choice.
